Intensive work with the deep layers of muscles and fascia
Deep tissue massage reaches the layers of muscles and fascia situated deeper than standard classic techniques. We use slow, intensive movements and strong pressure targeted at specific areas of tension. It is particularly effective for chronic muscle pain, morning stiffness, spinal pain and overuse after intensive exertion. Good communication with the masseuse is key to an effective session - keep her informed of your sensations at all times.

When working with deep tensions an intense discomfort may occur - described by clients as a "good pain". It should not be sharp or unbearable. Always communicate your sensations to the masseuse - the pressure can be adjusted.
Yes, this is normal. After an intensive session you may feel soreness or sensitivity in the massaged areas for 1-2 days. This is a sign that the tissues have been stimulated to regenerate. Drink plenty of water after the treatment.
For chronic problems we recommend a series of 4-6 sessions every 1-2 weeks, followed by maintenance sessions once a month. For acute pain states, consult a doctor.
Massage does not treat herniation, but it can significantly reduce tension in the paraspinal muscles and provide pain relief. Consult a doctor or physiotherapist before the treatment.
